Lilly Faye's Movie Review: Miss Potter, starring Renee Zellweger and Ewan McGregor

The Miss Potter in the title is Beatrix Potter, the English author and illustrator of twenty-three books, beginning with The Tale of Peter Rabbit. She really, really loved animals, so right away you know she was a good person.

Ewan McGregor is one of my favorite actors, and he didn't disappoint.

Renee Zellweger didn't sound like any English person I know, but that's probably because she's from Texas. The movie was so good, I quickly forgot about her bad accent.

There weren't any dogs or cats in the story, but there were quite a few cute woodland creatures, both real and imagined.

This movie had several good messages. Have confidence in yourself, have the courage to put your work out in the world, and never give up on love.

Movie Rating: Two Paws Up!
